In 1960, many areas of southern France were wrestling with the consequences of wartime collaboration and hatred. At the same time the sixties were about to explode with free thinking liberalism and the final breaking up of the once great empire of Napoleon.
In this story, a boy and his mother struggle to find their place in a world filled with labyrinths of treachery and deceipt.
